In late 2021 we were awarded a project to supply 1700m of Heavy Duty bridge and traffic barrier rails.
We used approximately 8-10 tonnes of aluminium sections and plates, all plates were processed in house on our waterjet cutting machine and all sections were purpose ordered from a local aluminium extrusion mill, these products were specifically ordered to size and length.
The project took 3 months to fabricate and the entire finished product was then glass bead blasted to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish and then coated in a 25-micron clear anodized finish to increase life expectancy in an extreme harsh marine environment.
All works were completed to MRTS79 specifications.
